By visiting the truck stop, you agree:
- To treat all visitors and staff with respect.
Abusive, intimidating or threatening behaviour of any severity will not be tolerated. In the event of any reported disturbances or discourteous behaviour, Dover Truck Stop shall reserve the right to request that the customer vacate the services building(s) and/or the truck stop. Dover Truck Stop shall, where applicable, reserve the right to take legal action. - Any disrespectful noise produced by visitors will not be tolerated.
- Strictly no cooking onsite or use of gas canisters.
- Any detrimental contamination to the onsite environment (including litter) will be reported, with CCTV evidence, to the local authorities.
- Anyone found not using the toilet facilities provided will be asked to leave.
- Filming or recording onsite is forbidden unless with prior agreement from Dover Truck Stop.
- No animals or livestock are accepted on site (including domestic pets).
- Anyone found or suspected of being in the possession of weapons, or any illegal substance, will be asked to leave and be reported to the local authorities.
- All traffic movement, manoeuvring and parking operations within the truck stop take place under the entire responsibility of the customer. This includes complying with the signage in the park and any instructions given by a Dover Truck Stop attendant. The speed limit in the truck park is 5mph.
- Driving under the influence of alcohol is strictly prohibited and will be immediately reported to the local authorities.
- Reversing is allowed only when performing manoeuvres that are necessary for parking with an approved banksman.
- Unless expressly agreed by Dover Truck Stop, in the event that parking considered as irregular, obstructive, abusive or dangerous, the vehicle may be impounded.
- Vehicles must be correctly parked as specified by Dover Truck Stop staff. Dover Truck Stop may remove vehicles left parked in breach of the present regulations at the expense, risk and peril of the offender.
- Parking of a trailer alone is only allowed with permission of Dover Truck Stop. It will be charged when the trailer is removed from the tractor.
- Pedestrians must pay utmost attention to traffic and follow the marked pathways.
- Any selling, begging, or offering of services, whether free or otherwise, is prohibited within the truck stop. Any peddling, canvassing, unpacking or sale of any objects whatsoever, display, distribution of leaflets, as well as any unloading of goods or transfer of goods between vehicles, even in part, is strictly prohibited without the prior written agreement of Dover Truck Stop.
- Visitors may access the facilities building provided (e.g. restaurant, toilets, hot showers, laundry, outdoor seating, etc.) provided that they are used correctly.
- Visitors must comply with any instructions provided by Dover Truck Stop staff or representatives and must take note of and comply with the safety and fire prevention notices and instructions.
- All visitors to the warehouse must wear approved personal protective equipment.
